One font contains Noto Serif JP’s full 16,726-character repertoire and 327 additional historical kana, support marks and compatibility kana: 17,053 encoded characters in total. All 286 hentaigana, all seven Unicode 18 kana additions, and the four kana ligatures encoded in CJK blocks are included.
Twenty-one constructed forms are provisional. Their joins, proportions and stroke weight need typographic review. Regular is the only available weight. The installed family appears as “GenZui Serif” or “源萃明朝”, depending on the application’s language.

Coverage and licence
The historical inventory contains 329 characters: 286 hentaigana, 11 other letters and digraphs in Kana Supplement and Kana Extended-A, ten small kana, ゟ and ヿ, four CJK-encoded kana ligatures, 13 Minnan tone letters, two support marks and SQUARE PAATU (㌬). Shared ideographs use Japanese regional forms. Chinese and Korean coverage is limited to the Noto Serif JP base.
GenZui Serif combines Noto Serif JP, Noto Serif Hentaigana and FRB Taiwanese Kana (SIL OFL 1.1). Constructed forms use Noto kana components and original drawing. The combined font is distributed under SIL OFL 1.1. Source credits · Jigmo CC0 dedication
